Recipe:
1 cup of sweet tapioca (Polvilho Doce, see photo below)
1 cup of sour tapioca (Polvilho Azedo, see photo below)
Note: You may only use sweet tapioca (polvilho doce) and skip the polvilho azedo
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (avoid using extra virgin olive oil)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 to 1 1/4 cups of whole milk
1 egg
1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
8 to 10 bacon strips or 1/2 cup of bacon bites/pieces
