Gallinita codorniz al caldero con patatas

Receta para preparar gallinitas Codornices al caldero con papas. Esta es una receta de mi queridisima hermana Shirley quien en mi opinión tiene un don especial en la cocina. Ella al igual que yo cocina casi todo al ojo así que tuve que darme a la tarea de medir para poder enseñarles esta receta.
Ingredientes:
3 gallinitas codorniz
6 dientes de ajo (dos por gallina)
Medio bunche de cilantro
Media cebolla
4 cucharadas y media de vinagre (una cucharada y media por gallina)
2 sobres de sazón
1 cuharada y media de sal (igual a 1 cucharadita por gallina)
4 cucharadas de aceite de oliva. Se usan tres en el sofrito y una en el caldero para cocinar las gallinitas.
Pimienta a gusto
De 6 a 8 papas (patatas) de tamaño pequeño o lo que sea equivalente de acuerdo al tamaño de las papas.
