Recipe to make Sancocho.
Ingredients:
1 pound of beef for stew
1 pound of pork ribs
1/2 pound of pork tenderloin
1/2 pound of sausage. I used Andouille.
1/2 pound of ham. I used honey smoked.
1 pound of white sweet potato
1/2 pound of yuca
1/2 pound of pumpkin
1/2 pound of malanga
1/2 pound of potatos
1 green plantain
1 ripe plantain
2 corn on the cob
1- 8oz can of tomato sauce
3 tablespoons of tomato paste
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. I used olive oil.
Salt and pepper to taste
