Ingredients:
36 Original Oreo cookies. Avoid purchasing the double stuff cookies since they will throw off the flavor and texture of this cookie balls.
8 ounces of cream cheese (softened).
16 ounces of melting chocolate. On the video I used a mix of dark chocolate, semi sweet chocolate and milk chocolate in equal parts and the results were simply amazing.
Notice that I obtained 21 cookie balls. However, I made most of the balls of over one inch diameter. If you control the size and keep it at or under one inch of diameter you then can get away with a yield of close to 30 cookie balls.
Notice that I placed the cookie balls in the fridge for about 15 minutes after I prepared them. This is an optional step that you can decide if it’s needed or not based on your judgment.
